The Book

The course in healthcare business you never got in training

Clinicians are handed enormous responsibility for organizations they were never taught to run. The Business of Healthcare closes that gap: plain-English lessons on how healthcare really works — how the money flows, how the law constrains and protects, how strategy gets set, and how leaders earn trust.

01

Lessons, not lectures

Concise, practical chapters sized for a working clinician's schedule — each one a lesson you can put to use immediately.

02

Disciplines in one place

Business strategy, finance, law and regulation, and leadership — the full picture, from an author credentialed in all of them.

03

Audience in mind

Physicians, nurses, administrators, and students stepping into leadership — anyone whose next role demands more than clinical excellence.
